Get out of the way

I find it extremely irritating when I’m trying to read information about a product on a website and a live chat window pops up to block the very documentation I’m trying to read. If I need to contact a support technician or product representative, I’ll click the damn button that should be clearly offered, off to the side and out of the way.

It’s not unlike the salespeople that pester you in a department store. I will approach you if I want your help, so be approachable and available, but leave me alone until I’m ready.
